From a $1 domain to a safer way to book airport parking

I’m Salma, a cloud engineer and the founder of ABC Park & Ride.

This project started by accident when I bought the domain for $1 to test some code. But as I dug into the industry backend, I was shocked by what I found.

Even now in 2026, the market is flooded with "rogue" operators - companies that reopen under new names weeks after being shut down for damaging vehicles.

Families save all year for trips. Parking shouldn’t be the part that causes stress - or worse, ruins a holiday.

Why we exist

ABC Park & Ride is built around one simple idea: we don’t list everyone - we list the ones that meet a clear standard.
We focus on operators who can be verified through recognised trust signals and who provide clear, customer-ready information.

How we vet operators

Before a listing goes live, we check for:

• Verifiable accreditation (where applicable), such as Park Mark / Safer Parking, BPA AM-GO for Meet & Greet, Trading Standards Buy With Confidence, or airport-approved schemes where they exist

• Business accountability, so customers know who they’re dealing with

• Transparency essentials, including where the car is stored, key handling, operating hours, fees, delay policies, and pickup/return steps

• Red-flag screening, to spot recent patterns that indicate higher risk (for example repeated no-show pickups, hidden fees, or uncontactable support)
